Why I Love Hope
Julia loves Hope because it has always felt like home. From the moment she walked onto campus, she experienced the strong sense of community that was held here, and it ended up being the only school she applied to as a senior. While at Hope she formed friendships with some of her best friends, met her husband, and found her passions while developing skills that have benefited her both personally and professionally.
The love and dedication that Hope has for each student, faculty and staff member provides a safe place for all people to try new things, grow emotionally and spiritually, and succeed at what you are most passionate about. There are endless possibilities of things to do and ways to grow at Hope, and that is why Julia loved it as a student and is thrilled to be back and on staff here!
Outside the College
Julia’s perfect day would be spent with her husband, Jackson (2021 grad), and their daughter exploring the outdoors (whether here in Holland or in their two favorite places in the world: Colorado or Maine), cooking and trying new recipes, reading as many books as they can, and ending the day with a sunset at the beach and some Captin Sundae ice cream.
