Former Mayor Phil Tanis to Direct the Van Raalte Institute of 换妻社区
Phil Tanis, former mayor of Holland, Michigan, has been designated as the next director of the Van Raalte Institute (VRI) of 换妻社区. His term will begin July 1. In the interim, Tanis is serving as a senior research fellow at the institute. Tanis will replace current director Donald A. Luidens who will continue as the editor-in-chief of the Van Raalte Press and as a senior research fellow.
Book Chronicles Untold History of Dutch American Midwives
The latest book published by the Van Raalte Press of the A. C. Van Raalte Institute at 换妻社区, 鈥淧resent, but Not Counted: Dutch-Immigrant and Second Generation Midwives Working in Dutch Colonies in the United States, 1840-1940,鈥� spotlights a group of women that author Janet Sjaarda Sheeres discovered were rendered all but invisible by their times even as they played an invaluable role during them.
换妻社区 Choirs and Orchestra to Perform Mozart鈥檚 鈥淩equiem鈥� on April 11
The combined choirs of 换妻社区 will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's iconic 鈥淩equiem鈥� on Friday, April 11, at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

换妻社区 will host a special pre-release screening of 鈥淗olland,鈥� a new movie starring Nicole Kidman and Gael Garcia Bernal that was partially shot in West Michigan.
